Fan girling

So recently I've been feeling a little lonely and to fill the whole in my heart I have been watching a load of film and TV programmes.... And I meant a lot :s.

I know the characters aren't real.... Even if I sometimes talk about them like they are (and sometimes wish they were). However the actors are real, and I'm all for a little Facebook/Twitter/Instagram stalking but after looking through some actors pictures/tweets/statuses and seeing the comments some people are leaving.... I realised that some people get way to attached..... And by way I mean wayyyyyy. I'm sure most actors enjoy getting feedback from their work but some of these comments are just plain weird.... I'm a fangirl an' all but calm down guys you don't know these people, and its just plain weird.

Okay rant over, back to the heart-whole filling:

One of the films that I've watch recently is Jupiter Ascending. This film is such a sci-fi cliché, all big spaceships and aliens. But the story line is really good, with only a few plot wholes, and the chemistry between Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum is pretty good. Plussss Channing Tatum with his shirt off quite a lot anddddd Sean Bean who is part bee.... :P tehe Sean Bee :P.

*** I give it 3 out of 5 stars.

The next film is Fifty Shades of Grey; and okay it is reallyyyyy cheesey. I spent at least 10 minutes laughing my head off when she casually questions what a butt plug is :P. But all the being said, its not a bad adaptation of a kinda bad book. Anddddd lots of scenes of Jamie Dornan with his shirt off, which, come on, is really hot :P.

** I give it 2 out of 5 stars.

Another films that is kinda cheesey but a really chick-flick is Prom. Yes, its a Disney film and yes its one of those stereotypical high school love films. Buttttt I like it :). The plot is really good and has some slight twists it is definately a good 'happy film' to watch :).

**** I give it 4 our of 5 stars.

One of the best TV series I've watched in a while is the first series of Pretty Little Liars. It has an amazing plot line, and I was on the edge of my seat for most of it. I'm now half way through the second series it is that good. I can't wait to find out who 'A' is.

***** I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

And of course, no TV binge is complete without a bit of Doctor Who. Christopher Eccleston is definitely my favourite doctor, it might be because he is a fellow northerner or just because he is an amazing actor. I'm only 1 episode away from his regeneration (for none Whovians regeneration is when the doctor becomes someone else/ change of actor) and I don't know if I can put myself through it again :(. Gunna miss him :(.

***** and of course I give this 5 out of 5 stars.

That's all for now folks,
Hope you enjoyed my ramblings :).

What are your favourite TV/ Film binges?

Bitten by Kelly Armstrong

So amongst all my dissertation panicking.... I mean writing, I read Bitten by Kelly Armstrong. Bitten is the first book in the Women of the Otherworld series and its safe to say gets it off to a good start.

Bitten by Kelly Armstrong.
Elena is the only female werewolf in existence and she hates it. She never asked for this life and is determined to get as far away from Stonehaven (and Clay, the super hot guy who she was going to marry until he bit her) as she can. But unforeseen players bring the Pack to her and she must help them stop the murderous mutt that is leaving presents on their doorstep.... Of the dead human variety.

I've read Kelly Armstrong books before and this one is just as amazing. The story is fast paced and just doesn't let up. There are sex scenes in it.... However they are a little dull (not Fifty Shades dull but still).

So if you fancy dreaming about a super hot guy with a Texan twang then this is for you :p.

Bitten has been made into a Canadian TV series, which is really good. It doesn't quite stick to the book but it's still really good for a TV adaptation.

That's all for now folks,

Stressful :/

First post.... Here goes :P.... I'm not quite sure why I decided to do this.... Maybe coz my house mate does it and I need a place to vent :P so sorry in advance for an ranty posts :P.

So I'm in my last year of Uni and I'm stressed (obviously). Finely handed in my dissertation, which made me happy for all of 5 minutes when the rest of what I had to do hit. And I hear what everyone is saying "Third year is always stressful", "Only a few more weeks and its over". And I get that, but this whole years has, quite frankly, been crap.

Due to all the stress I've had major break outs and one thing that has really helped with it is Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner. I mean I know tea tree is great but this stuff is amazing! I mean like I've been using it for about 2 weeks and my face is no longer like the Grand Canyon. So heads up, if you want clear skin Body Shop is definitely the place to go. See the link below.
